Consistently grows expertise in business processes and enabling technologies Role: Business System Analyst Role Responsibilities: Communicating and effectively coordinating change to the business is a key responsibility for this role Significant participation in the planning and deployment of specific initiatives and projects Support the simplification of our solution portfolio across our business programs by analyzing business requirements, developing solutions and supporting documentation for development teams Responsible for building functional and technical specifications to meet business requirements while driving cost efficiency in this solution delivery within assigned area Will be responsible for implementation of different types of interfaces between systems. Coordinate the UAT and delivery of training to the support team. Collaborate with business partners for benefit realization to evaluate user adoption and drive improvement in our business KPI's. Contribute to growing expertise within Solution Centre team across other Business System Analysts, Technical Architects and Management Services to deliver value to our stakeholders. Job Specifics Job Function: * This position will primarily focus on the Oracle EBS arena. Primary areas of engagement will be Finance(AP,AR,GL, Billing), Projects(Costing, Accounting, Billing, Project Management, Project MFG), Supply Chain(Inventory, Procurement, EDI), Service(Field Service, Service Contracts, Install Base), TCA. * Coordinate the design phase of Oracle EBS implementation in existing and future deployments. Expertise in Oracle toolsets for future deployments, enhancements and strategies and integrations deep knowledge of interface and extensions * These programs will be key to address gaps in the effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy of Tyco's business processes in the Oracle EBS space * The BSA for Oracle EBS will ultimately be responsible for identifying and promoting the use of business tools for improving finance efficiencies, improving customer satisfaction, identifying new opportunities, improving employee collaboration, removing waste in the install and service space and increasing profit across the enterprise. * In conjunction with this activity they also need to be able to provide solution proposals, design, cost and timeline estimations to the customer considering the diverse IT application platforms across Tyco and within the ERP space. * Solutions will be required across all operational and engineering processes within a install and service setting. * The various ERP strategies and roadmaps will ultimately be responsible for driving global solutions in this space, the BSA for install and service will play a key leadership role in the formulation of same. Job Responsibility: * Responsible for designing technical solutions within the Oracle EBS Ecosystem across the following process and platforms: be Finance(AP,AR,GL, Billing), Projects(Costing, Accounting, Billing, Project Management, Project MFG), Supply Chain(Inventory, Procurement, EDI), Service(Field Service, Service Contracts, Install Base), TCA, iExpense, Markview. This responsibility will require Deep Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 on all modules, particularly Finance, Projects and Supply Chain * Drives simplification of the Oracle EBS portfolio in collaboration with IT business partnership teams and assist Solution Architect and Project Manager in implementation plan * Responsible for design phase of Programs across the supply chain business (people, process, technology, policy, data) by analyzing business requirements, developing solutions and supporting documentation for development teams * Responsible for building functional and technical specifications to meet business requirements while driving cost efficiency in this solution delivery within the install and service arena specifically in Oracle EBS. Will be responsible for implementation of different types of interfaces between Oracle ERPs and other systems. * Support UAT and delivery of training to support team * Collaborate with business partners for benefit realization to evaluate user adoption and best practices across the business units * Contribute to growing expertise within Solution Center team across other Business System Analysts, Technical Architects and Management Services to deliver value to our stakeholders * This Run role will spend approx. 25% of time on projects and 75% on run activities. Organization Interaction: * Support Solution Architect in delivery of business process improvements * Interacts with IT business partnership teams on solution use and development. * Influences business leaders on business process improvement and data quality. * Collaborates with Global Infrastructure Architects * Support solution operations leader to improve reliability and efficiency Key Business Processes: This position will primarily focus on Install and Service areas within the Oracle EBS arena. Primary areas of engagement will be Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, Service, TCA Key IT Platforms: Oracle EBS and Oracle development tools Business KPI Support: % Increased Solution Leverage driving business KPIs and data; % Simplification of solution portfolio;% Business Partner Satisfaction (NPS); suppliers);% Increased Cost Efficiency in solution delivery Interpersonal Skills: This position requires exceptional collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels with internal and external parties in addition to Tyco’s key values: integrity, teamwork, excellence, and accountability. Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to focus with close attention to detail. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
