Vijay Need more info on your setup - First things I would look at is....   Turn off any Anti Virus Software running If you have any disk based application like Diskeeper, or anything that performs I/O on the disks, then turn it off If you have VSS enabled, turn this off too! With these features turned off, try again and see if there is any improvement.
