I've been having problems with a particular clients db/images directory. It seemed that some images were not being deleted.
It turns out that bpdb isn't able to delete compress catalogs that expire. It essentially orphans them which leads to you're client images growing.
The bug ID is 897766. You should contact veritas in order to get a work around. Apparently the fix is slated for MP3.
