We are planning NBU upgrade from 3.4 to 6.0.
My understanding we need to go a long way: 3.4 -> 4.5 -> 5.1 -> 6.0 + MP3 (not to mention Solaris upgrade).
Just a couple of points to clarify ...
1. At what point does the catalog get converted from ASCII to binary? Is it done manually (cat_convert) ?
2. Backup image import (not part of this upgrade) - Has anyone tried to import 3.4 backup image into NBU 6.0 database?
