I parse bpdbjobs -all_columns output, pull what fields we are interested in into a MySQL database, from where I produce various email and HTML reports are produced cutting the data by various criteria which management are interested in. It's taken quite a while to evolve but I can now usually direct a lot of management queries at the web pages, or reasonably easily pull the information out of the database. Not sure if this is a yes or a no to your question, but it is one option if you've got the time and programming skills ...

Trouble I have, is that the status of backup reports advises the status per stream, and thats an awful lot of raw data to place into Excel - And to be honest management are not intersted in raw data.... just nice simple charts. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do or perform to either take the data from NBU and create a fancy report? or something that is simple on the eyes for management to see Thank you Regards Simon Weaver 3rd Line Technical Support Windows Domain Administrator EADS Astrium Limited, B23AA IM (DCS) Anchorage Road, Portsmouth, PO3 5PU Email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] This email (including any attachments) may contain confidential and/or privileged information or information otherwise protected from disclosure.
