You should only need to use SSH for new installs. Upgrades should be able to use the NetBackup client it'self to push the updates across.
Here's some of my notes: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/install_client_files ssh NEWHOST NOTE: you must first have ssh keys for "root" in place first for this to work. echo Solaris Solaris10 NEWHOST > /admin/nbu/tmp/client.lst /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/update_dbclients Oracle -ClientList /admin/nbu/tmp/client.lst echo Solaris Solaris10 HOSTNAME > /admin/nbu/tmp/client.lst /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/update_clients -ClientList /admin/nbu/tmp/client.lst --- "usage: $0 [-ForceInstall -Install_Client_Bins -Install_SNC] \\ [-ClientList filename | hardware_type operating_system]" +---------------------------------------------------------------------- |This was sent by [EMAIL PROTECTED] via Backup Central. |Forward SPAM to [EMAIL PROTECTED] +---------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Veritas-bu maillist - Veritas-bu@mailman.eng.auburn.edu http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-bu
