Hi, I am having trouble getting the file level backups working for an ESX server. It's failing with the bpstart_notify failure error (73). However, the image level backups work fine. This was all setup before i came here and i don't really have much experience with backing up VMware. As far as i can see the policies are setup correctly, looks like they have created 2 policies per VM, 1 for Image and 1 for File. Someone told me that he thinks that the backups worked fine before...!
Any ideas? If all else fails how hard is it to recover files from a full Image backup?
