The best approach must be: 1) Be sure that your ACSLS is in a clustered environment, cause its is going to be a critical service for whole operation to work 2) Upgrade all your media servers to 6.5.3 (site A)
You can follow 2 ways: 1) Make your Site A Master Server a Media server and make all media servers for Site B Master Server (You might cluster Site B Master Server) 2) Partition ACSLS and make a pool for Site A and Site B. Manual operation must be required for tape assignment between pools Don't forget to provision according to your requirements SAN zoning, tape assignment, licensing and LAN connectivity prior to Netbackup upgrade/config Message: 4 Date: Wed, 18 Mar 2009 11:11:45 -0400 From: <anil.mau...@sanofi-aventis.com> Subject: [Veritas-bu] What is best approach to share one ACSLS library ?
