Try logging into the client host from the master then run "who am i" or "who -r" to see where it thinks you're coming from - sometimes it isn't what you expect. Also try the reverse. This will validate connections are being seen as the hostname you think they are.

I have opened a case with Symantec since we upgraded to 6.5.5, so hopefully they can help..
