one method to fix this without updating the database is to add a  bp.conf entry:
FAILOVER_RESTORE_MEDIA_SERVERS = <old_media_server_name> 
<new_media_server_name> 
You could also use the FORCE_RESTORE_MEDIA_SERVER directive.
