No ,this is not the case.

I am getting error:

e0008488 - Access is denied.V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup
directory Mailbox 50 -1 and its subdirectories.

Please let me know what to do in this case as I consulted symantec and they
asked to reboot the microsoft exchange server to work further on this,.

Only a guess, but did the password for the exchange service change/expire?

Hello Geeks,

I am sorry to put up a backup exec query here .

We have BE 12D server and we were successfully backing up Exchange 2007 using
GRT on tape.

But from some days it is getting failed with Access Denied and when we uncheck
GRT option it gets successful.

Any idea what the reson could be .

There is no way we can reboot exchange server.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Pranav
