I have a new clustered master server solaris 10. I have copied a retiring master servers classes, clients, and jobs directories to the new master's /usr/openv/netbackup/db directory. Retiring master and new master run Netbackup 6.5.6 The new master will not allow any changes to the offline catalog with the error (Status 46) Server Not Allowed Access. In the configuration window for offline catalogs, the initial media server is the retiring master server name. So somewhere in the copied files mentioned above, the retiring catalog configuration was imported as well. Symantec help had me check the bp.conf for correct FQDN entries for the new media server, new master server cluster names and I checked the entries in /etc/hosts for the new media and master server, all are up-to-date with correct hostname entries. I need to know how to fix the source files where NetBackup gets its information for Catalog Backups.
