Clients can only have one server listed as Master Server.
The 'old' server can be left as Server entry.

Please do the following test (one client at a time):

Ensure bpcd log folder exists on client.

Run this command on master:
bptestbpcd -client <client-name> -verbose -debug.
(You should see 7.1 master trying to connect to PBX (1556) first, then fail 
back to vnetd (13724).

Please send output produced by above command as well as client's bpcd log.
