Environment: NBU 7.1 Windows - Vault - Quantum VTL/I6K We recently made a switch from Spectra AIT5 to Quantum LTO5 library. We have tapes offsite with 7+ years retention that we would like to migrate onto the newer media technology LTO5
Can someone give me some pointers as to how to approach this? Using 3rd party is not an option due to budget. High level steps? procedures? ideas? Things to look out for? how tos? Having one of those moments...any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.
