RMAN backup was 35TB across 40 tapes. Backup is claimed to have used 6 streams. All masters & clients/media servers and oracle instances share the same RMAN catalog. This is a disaster recovery of a 35 TB database from one master backup solution/client to another. Tapes shipped from my location to our remote location.
This type of recovery has been done successfully twice before.....but....for different backup clients.
