Typically if I want to see what backups exist for a given policy I use the following notes:
To see which media / backup IDs etc... were used for a given policy: bpimmedia -L -policy <policy> -d MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss -e MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss (above is all one line) where -d = start time and -e = end time range for the backup(s) you need to find. The policy specified after "-policy" would be the one you see in NetBackup Java GUI. Note that the range doesn't have to be exact - it can start before the backup and end after a given backup if you only want to check one day - the idea is to set it so that it only gets one backup.
