Yes, this helps, I have it working now. The Zone agent documentation was silent on this new (multi-valued) attribute that goes onto the service group, not the resource. Indeed, its right there in the virtualation document you linked to.

Hi Ryan, Since VCS5.1 the zone info is maintained by the Service Group attribute "ContainerInfo". You can find the details in the "Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions Virtualization Guide" doc: http://sfdoccentral.symantec.com/sf/5.1/solaris/pdf/sfha_virtualization. pdf I hope this helps. April 2010 15:08 To: [email protected] Subject: [Veritas-ha] VCS 5.1 Zone agent...Where's the ZoneName attribute? I'm installing a new VCS 5.1 cluster (on Solaris 10 x64) to cluster some Solaris zones using the built-in Zone agent. However, unlike previous versions, there is no ZoneName attribute for the Zone resource to define the very basic name of the zone itself. I can't get the zone resource to work, and I'm not finding any obviously-named alternate attribute. Where does the zone/container name get placed in VCS 5.1? The documentation only lists these attributes: Pool, BootState, ShutdownGracePeriod Regards, RCA _______________________________________________ Veritas-ha maillist - [email protected] http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-ha _______________________________________________ Veritas-ha maillist - [email protected] http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-ha
