Hi all, I have read the following url: http://www.forsythesunsolutions.com/node/34 Jarod says that Oracle temporary tablespace (by design) doesn't follow rules which allow direct access to it on UFS. Can anybody reveal some internals of VxFS and write if the same happens with VxFS direct mount (mincache=direct/convosync=direct) ? Or in general: what a rules has to be fulfilled to have direct access (providing there are some rules ...) and whether Oracle temporary tablespace put on VxFS with direct mount are accessed really direct ?
