Hi guys,

As the author of the license agreement, please let me clear up the
intent of these limitations.

Here's the relevant text from the EULA:

"The Commercial License and NFR License both do not allow Versions to
be activated and used on more computers than the number of computers
you have obtained said License(s) for. Sofa may, at its sole
discretion, for your convenience decide to allow you to activate
Versions on additional computers within reasonable limits.
Notwithstanding such a decision you are only licensed to use Versions
simultaneously on the amount of computers you have obtained said
License(s) for."

As usual with these kinds of agreements, the language is a bit harsher
than the intent.

Emphasis should be on "Sofa may, at its sole discretion, for your
convenience decide to allow you to activate Versions on additional
computers within reasonable limits.". Well, decision made :)

As long as you don't use Versions simultaneously on multiple machines,
we're absolutely cool if you use the same license code on several
machines as long as those are all machines belonging or primarily used
by the same person.

Our assumption was that people would try to use the same license code
on several of their personal machines anyway, the language in the
license agreement is there so there can be no doubt that we have the
right to block license codes that are being (ab)used excessively.

Please drop me a line, or follow-up here, if you have further
questions about the EULA.

Thanks :)
