I'm sorry for the trouble.

It looks like Versions does get valid activation data back from the
server, but somehow is unable to store it.

Could you take a look if a file named "License" is created in the ~/
Library/Application Support/Versions folder after you register?  If it
doesn't show up, please take a look in the Console for any exceptions
that might have been logged by Versions.

A possible workaround is to manually copy the "License" file over from
the same spot in the other account, but I'd of course prefer to figure
out what's going wrong in the first place.
