Well John, I've got to say as of this morning you are not the only one. I checked in changes last night before leaving the office, I came in this morning to update the project after a few other made changes overnight, and Versions keeps crashing on launch. It will not start up. Thread 9 seems to be the one where the crash is occurring for me, and something related to libsvn. Rebooted and still won't start up. Not sure if the issues are the same, but it is an odd coincidence. I use Versions daily, in fact it is usually always open. All of a sudden this morning, nada.
