When i am working on a large project i have multiple different groups of code that fix different problems. I would like to be able to more easily manage different commits. some suggestions: - when i select all it selects the folders as well, so that when i decide which files to unselect and not commit, the folder is still selected and the file still gets committed. So a folder should only be selected if all changes in that folder are selected, or at least when i commit - being able to track and group my changes would save me a lot of time in having to look back at each file to see what i have changed. i make small edits in a large number of files but there is no way for me to se which files i have edited, say in the last day. So some way to group the changes would be nice - putting changes on the Shelf. being able to put a group of changes to the side if i need to let them ignore them for a while. or if i want to do some edits that aren't very important then i can put them to the side and wont have to see them when i am doing commits for other sections of code
