I also got this problem. It happened two days after updating my OS X 
version from 10.8 to 10.8.2. I'm using Versions 1.1.11. I have spent the 
whole night to resolve this -- same -- still no luck.
It doesn't care how much I try to expand the folder, nothing will be shown 
up as its child.
