Hi Ricardo,
  It is probably not too hard to add; in the mean time, you can
fake it by adding an xy-plot with both the plot symbol and the line
hidden. That lets you add a line to the top of the legend with no symbol
next to it, and by using the \size and \bold or \underline text commands
you can draw a decent-looking title.

Of course, adding support for a real title would let the title span the full width of the legend box, rather than just the text length.
