I've found an anomalous behaviour with plots which have more than 1 axis
set. With 2 or more sets, the "Auto Mirror" flag looses effect and no
tick-marks are shown; it doesn't matter if either set is hidden. In some
cases, (though I'm not sure how) I even seem to loose the axis line. If
you have only (say) one Y axis set, then you get the mirrored tick marks
on the Y axis.

This one is intentional behaviour. The problem is that if you have a 2nd axis, you don't know which one to mirror. The 2nd axis might also be on the right side of the plot, where you wouldn't want a mirror (perhaps mirroring could be disabled in this case).

Any suggestions for better behaviour? I suppose you could use the order of the axis to decide which one gets mirrored. You could also disable mirroring if there is an axis in the position of the mirror.
