Gary, you're making me turn green with envy.  We have only one bonafide 
trout stream in Texas, and that's the Guadalupe near New Braunfels. 
 It's a tail race fed by bottom draw dam flowing 50 degree water to the 
river.  As long as the flow is around 200cfs, even in the summer, the 
trout live and do well for 10-12 miles downstream.  Record rainbow - 8 
1/2 pounds.  

Must be nice to have a bunch of great trout streams near like you do.
