Fly was prolly tyed a year or more ago. Obviously there's absolutely no need for a trailer hook on an artistic fly that will never be fished........but i just do weird things like that at times. The bead on this fly also came from Ronn Lucas Sr. Wish you could see it better.....it's a very cool bead. If you look real close, you'll be able to tell there's an CDC feather all along the side of the main wing, tyed in as an overgrown cheek. And there are two different feathers in the collar, and a dubbed section in front of the bead. The tail is in two parts as well, with a veiling over the top of the main tail. The fly is really nice to look at in reality..........these pics SUCK!
