Jeff Hines has ties a White River Version of the Alexandra, If I can find the 
fly, I will take a photo and post it. He will probably be tying it at the Sowbug

played around with feather, furs and google groups.

I got some ideas from recent group activities, we discussed tube
flies, had members posting their flies, deco-flies and I participated
in a streamer swap, where I contributed an Alexandra. Finally I did
put together a side in our group, where the different variants of an

I learned during my research on this topic, that the Alexandra was
originally tied with a red tag instead of a red tail.
