I can't find Dave's original posts, but if it is a combo unit, a lot of those come with level fly line, and I have never been able to cast that crap. It almost made me give up fly fishing. Dave, check the line very close. It should start small in diameter for a few feet, then get larger in diameter for probably 30-50 ft depending on the type line, then go back to the thin diameter towards the backing. They should stop making it, Chuck
