If anyone wants to 'date themselves', they can tell us if they remember when
Swannundaze came out.
Remember the articles in the Fly rags called the 'Swannundaze Craze'?

It was the hottest thing in tying for a few years, then the D-ribs and
Larva-Lace came out. I have gobs of all of it left over (another term for
'hoarded').

A D-rib would be one-half of a Jelly-rope. Swannundaze is a D-rib flattended
out. At the end it came in many sizes and colors. And a Larva-lace would be a
hollow Jelly-rope. So any of these can be used for Juice-bugs.

  Ashley, (and swappers)

You are correct. 'Juice bugs' are just a style of fly that I've tied for 30
years, starting with Swannundaze.
