I'm sad to hear this. I never met Dean, but he always sent me invites to
Sowbug, which I unfortunately was never able to make (Yet), and wish I could
have met him as I have only hear good things about him. Chuck

For those of us who have tied at the Sowbug the past few years, we lost
a great friend this evening.
Tony Spezio called me a bit ago to ask me to let everyone know that Dean
Darling passed away. He had been fighting
cancer for several years. Dean was the person who registered all tyers
at the Sowbug until about two or three years
ago when it became more than he could handle.
Dean was one of the nicest gentlemen one could ever ask to meet and was
one of Tony's best friends.
Condolences to the family and to Tony.
