I belive they are grey squrrels. Albinoism can show up anywhere. We have two
adult sisters that are true albinos liveing here. I did some lock work one the
home of one of them before I retired and they (her and her husband) have a son
with normal pigmentation.

There is also a white albiono grey squrrel I belive in W.VA or N.C. Have
seen photps of them.

A couple of years ago, I could have supplied you with some black squirrel
tails. When we first moved into this house the squirrels in our backyard were
evenly split between the black variant and the normal gray. But I haven't seen
a black one for over a year. If one shows up I'll get my air rifle and "knock
one off the bird feeder" We don't live in the city, but we're too close to get
away with shooting a regular firearm.
