I've acquired eight colors of the NOS Gudebrod silk so far. I've only tied with the orange but hope to give the others a go soon. I don't think all the spools are waxed, and hope they are not. Would like to use some for rod guide wraps. The other thing I like about them is price, $11.00 for 925 yard spool. I expect them to be a lifetime supply for me.
