Hi Jimmy; Overall, it seemed like attendance was lower or equal to last year. That said, I think tyer attendance was better or perhaps the variety of patterns and techniques was MUCH better!
Mike George tying deer hair, several tiers demonstrating weave patterns, two tying Calcesiau pigboats, numerous classic Salmon fly tiers, and two young men (12 & 13) that were awesome tiers! I'm fairly new to the vfb, so don't know a lot of the members. The ones I do know include Tony Spezio, Rick Zieger,Peggy Brenner, and Bob Hendry. I know I didn't spend enough time with Rick or Peggy, definitely will make an effort to correct that next time I see them. I met several others from other lists I belong to. Overall a great SOWBUG and as always never seems like there's enough tim err to see it or all the tiers!
