I haven't been anywhere special. The only reason for the break was that the tying started to feel like an obligation. In the end I tied "just because I hadn't tied in a couple of days". That feeling when you get an idea or see something and just NEED to put it on a hook was gone. So I decided to take a break... instead of continue "tying for the sake of tying" with the risk to kill something completely. It felt right. Months passed and I didn't miss it at all. But everytime I was into the tying room (now Teresa's extra storage room) and saw the vises standing there, I knew that I would be coming back. I could feel that it wasn't gone... just a little bit worn out.
