I don't remember the water ever being green. There must be some algae growth. Still a beautiful place to get away from the busy hustle of San Francisco. As a kid, if I wasn't out fishing, I was there practicing my casting and getting lessons from several legends in fly fishing. I attended a few of Mel Krieger's casting clinics. He was an extraordinary caster and equally extraordinary teacher.
