I have decided to "cut the cable" which in effect means that I am dropping Shaw cable service for my phone and internet and in the not too distant future likely for my TV as well.
Since I will likely soon lose my nev.gosl...@shaw.ca <mailto:nev.gosl...@shaw.ca> e-mail address, I am instead going to use Fastmail and my email effective now is nevgosl...@fastmail.fm <mailto:nevgosl...@fastmail.fm> (note there is no dot between nev & gosling as with shaw) I might regret doing this but time will tell, as I am fed up with paying for a lot of channels that I never watch.
