But often fisherfolk may reach a point where they start turning to less complex and much simpler equipment. This happens when the enjoyment of the experience is based as much on the surroundings as the action of fishing.

I'm there. I quit trying to carry everything I own when I go fishing. And I think I enjoy it much more now.
