Virtual Fly Box Collaborators, I know we have some expert rod builders out there, but I am not one of them. The 7wt BlueHalo fiberglass blank has a .569 diameter butt which some say will limit the choices for reel seats. I was thinking about a plain - sturdy aluminum saltwater type reel seat. Not sure how to size the fighting butt for the reel seat. Is there any difference in function between an inletted cork and one that is not??
