I find myself preferring a conventional vise over the full rotary types mostly because of the awkward positioning of the hand when attaching materials. Currently I have a Anvil Apex that can do just about everything I want from size 24 to 1/0 worm hooks. However, I have had thoughts of upgrading to a HMH or Dyna King conventional vise. Does anyone in this group have suggestions or experiences with these vises or similar ones? Has anyone used one of the A K Best vises?
