For the Wing-Thing: I do not see how you use them to attach the wings. Or
are you using them for the design phase only?
Streamer are really a thing with 2 faces, large fish and a great option,
just to make nice and decorative items.

2 Fl. Green Barred. 2 Fl. Orange, 2 Fl. Pink,
Plus 2 shorter Purple barred & 2 Fl. blue
Cheeks: (8)
2 Peacock neck fans each side (4),
2 green peacock body fans,
2 Jungle cock body spears
= 18 feathers, and all the colors play in.
Body: Silver braid, colored with yellow, pink, and blue hiliters.
The belly fibers are buck-tail- yellow, orange, pink, and dark pink.
Tip 1:
It really helps to use ‘Wing Things’ to build the wings and cheeks. Getting
10 wing feathers to marry closely is very hard if tying them right on the
hook one at a time. So I mate them first in a Wing Thing- (

Same with the cheeks, I experimented for a while with many cheek-feather
combinations in Wing Things to come up with a good complimentary cheek,
over-laying each design over the wing to test it. I may take one cheek
set-up and overlay it over 10 different wing-sets to see how it looks on
different color schemes.
Tip 2: Experiment with the right side of the wing and cheek first, then
when you get a combo you like, build the left side to match. Less feathers
to handle while designing.
