I've hit a weird funk where I sat down at the vise (or vice) and didn't
know what to tie. I have a library of multiple hundred books, some of them
encyclopedias of fly patterns, and yes, I had no idea what to tie. Tyer's
block, much like a writer's block, if you will. So that got me to
thinking: what are your favorite, or most used, online preferably - or
written in print - sources for new patterns, to keep things fresh? If you
say "Youtube" please be more specific - which channel do you view, and what
about that channel holds your attention? I'm not looking for great fly
*fishing* videos, though they are very cool to me, but I'm seeking recipes
for fly *tying* patterns, or step by steps, that are geared specifically
towards the tying of a multiplicity of different flies.
I look forward to hearing what folks have to say - this may be interesting!
-Pete
