I'm with you on that Steve, however I do have some reservations. I'd prefer not to get shot while on the water. One of my fishing pals carries a pistol (legally) when in even semi-remote areas (he used it once to shoot a copperhead that he said was 'chasing' him). I know he's not the only one carrying more than a rod out there.
