I have family there and have fished many times over the years, mostly deep sea.  North of Jupiter Inlet, there is the park.  My cousins called the area Blowing Rocks due to the beach geology.  My last time down there one January, I was wading from rock to rock and saw small sharks and plenty of other fish.  The paper that evening answered my qyestions of the numerous helicopter trips up and down the coast.  Seems they were keeping track of thousands of migrating sharks of several different species (bull, sand, nurse)!

Lots of sharks and cudas will get your catch in deeper water.  Yellowfin, bonita, king mackeral, sailfish, jacks, grouper are just some of the fish I've caught in that area.  There are lots of species in the inlet and close to shore but I can't remember if there were the hot ones like snook, tarpon, permit.  I will tell you that catching bonita on a fly rod requires a lot of backing and a tough reel.

No matter the fishing, it is a beautiful place and you'll have a good time.  I hear it has really grown up as a suburb of Palm Beach and traffic can be a bear at times.  The fact it juts into the gulfstream makes it almost tropical.  Have fun.
