Hi John, Lake Nahwatze is halfway betwee Matlock and Shelton in Mason County. From Oregon you would drive up to Olympia and then West about 45 minutes.
The fish range in the 12-14 inch category with some bigger ones here and there. It's really hot in the fall, but has slowed up a bit for the Winter. It still produces pretty well, though. It's one of those lakes that I know like the back of my hand, so I can point you in the right direction. I'll post detailed directions on the list. We'd love to have you. We can't match some of those incredible Eastern Oregon lakes, but it should be fun anyway.
