This last season I inherited an old small Perrine aluminum fly box (3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1/2) with metal springs for holding flies, not clips. The springs run the long way on the box, so they are 3 1/2 inches long not 2 1/2. I have found this box to be the perfect size for a quick morning of fishing because it fits in your back pocket, but it still holds a good amount of flies because of the way the springs are designed (after a couple seasons of using a vest I've decided to become a minimalist and only bring one fly box, a rod and reel, a spool of tippet, and a pair of nippers). Anyway, I'd like to pick up another one for my steelhead flies but I can't find anyone that carries them. Does anyone know of a website for this company or if they have an online catalog? If not does anyone know of a company that makes a similar product? I've tried E-Bay but many times these old boxes come with flies, and then there is the vintage factor. I don't want someone's heirloom, just a practical fly box.
