Jimi and Jimmy, The loop end to the fly line. That should be the thickest part of the furled leader. I have tied a length of 25 lbs. mono to the fly line with a nail knot and the put a loop in the other end using a double surgeon knot, keeping the mono to about 4 - 6 inches, including the loop. Then just connect the leader to the fly line using the two LARGER loops. On the skinny side of the leader the loop is much smaller and you may have to pick at with bodkin. After catching few fish I have to untwist that end to open the loop up for tippet.
