Hi All, I've been lurking here for quite a while enjoying the fishing and
amiable
atmosphere in this group. Some of the anglers on this list I recognize from
other
lists but I'm new to most.

I live in Edson located in the foothills of West Central Alberta within
sight of
the Jasper Park Rockies. We're river and stream rich here with miles of
water in
easy access of my home. We have them all when it comes to trout and some
that
can't be found any place else. The glacier fed Athabasca River contains the
only
rainbow native to this side of the Rockies.

Bio...
-fly fishing since early 70's, fly tying started a few years later
-Married 26 years in May. She's the bigger one.
- love reading anything about fly fishing
-founding member of the Yellowhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited & lifetime
member
of Trout Unlimited Canada
-have taught local kids and adults fly tying. Kids are great, ya know you've
made
an impression when they won't go
home and you haven't fed them yet.
-Tye commercially going on seven years now, only about 100 doz. a year as
any more
would become work and
then I'd have to quit. I tye just enough to buy some toys.

Calm days eh
