Hi all,

I am going to build my first rod, and have decided on a St. Croix SCIV
blank (it' the Legend Ultra blank). I will have access to a professional
rod builder so the technical part will not be a deciding factor of whether
to go will a 9' 6wt 2 or 4 piece rod. The price difference is only $20 more
for the 4 piece. Portability could be a nice, as I do occasionally hike
into lakes/streams.

My question are these:
1. Is it worthwhile to step up and buy the 4 piece?
2. Does a 4 piece have increased or less sensitivity?
3. Does it make a big difference in casting for example will it be a faster
action or add significant weight?
4. Any Legend Ultra owners have experiences that would sway them one way
over another?

Any help would be great, as I value the advice of the list!

Thanks,

Jeremy Christensen
