Glad the gills gods were good to you, wait until they get selective and you finally figure out the only fly that will turn them on. Gill are a great little fish when you get the plate size bullgill you will understand. Thanks for the kind comments about my flies. The best part about sharing flies is when they help make someones day. It's better than using them to catch fish myself, I owe you. I've never fished for them on a flyrod before, I have talked to several of you in the chat room about bluegills and Dan Gober even sent me some flies (they work). We started out fishing for trout but noticed bluegill feeding. My first was a little one about 3", finally we figured them out and landed about 11 each. Most were about the size of my hand.
